Berkeley County Supervisor, Sheriff to Host Series of Community Meetings

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. – (Friday, September 20, 2024) – Throughout the month of October, Berkeley County Government and Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office will host a series a community update meetings. At each meeting, County Supervisor Johnny Cribb and County Sheriff Duane Lewis will provide updates to community members on topics including County Finances, Public Safety, Roads and Infrastructure, Capital Projects, and Parks and Greenspace. 

Please see meeting schedule below. Each meeting will be 6-8 p.m.  

  • Tuesday, 10/1 – Stratford High School, 951 Crowfield Blvd., Goose Creek, SC 29445 (auditorium)
  • Wednesday, 10/2 – Philip Simmons High School, 3080 River Village Drive Charleston, SC 29492 (auditorium)
  • Monday, 10/7 – Berkeley High School, 406 W Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC 29461 (auditorium)
  • Tuesday, 10/15 – Timberland High School, 1418 Gravel Hill Road, St. Stephen, SC 29479 (auditorium)
  • Wednesday, 10/16 – Cane Bay High School, 1624 State Road, Summerville, SC 29486 (auditorium)
  • Tuesday, 10/29 – Daniel Island School, 2365 Daniel Island Drive, Daniel Island, SC 29492 (Multi-Purpose room)
  • Wednesday, 10/30 – Hanahan High School, 6015 Murray Drive, Hanahan, SC 29410 (auditorium) 

Following each meeting, County staff will be on hand to answer community members’ questions and solicit feedback on topics of discussion.
